Hamish joined RigPro in 2018 with over 10 years’ rigging experience, delivering commissioning, repairs, maintenance and consistently outstanding customer service.
Chris Walker
Business Manager, RigPro Europe
Chris joined RigPro in New Zealand in 2016, later moving to Palma in 2017 to grow RigPro in Europe. With a background in industrial design and award-winning superyacht refits, he understands client needs and delivers tailored projects

Russell brings 20 years’ industry experience, major refits and racing worldwide, plus 250k+ miles, now supporting all areas of RigPro’s service.

Tom, originally from Falmouth, England joined RigPro in 2023 with 12 years’ rigging experience, managing major projects and now leading RigPro’s rigger team in New Zealand.

Alastair's 20+ years experience in the industry spans racing, superyachts, composites and commercial entrepreneurship. With a focus on customer experience and satisfaction he is committed to delivering on client expectations and continuing to improve RigPro's product, services and industry relationships.
Alan Sjuve
Composite Department Manager
Alan is a composite structures engineer who contributed to the original DynaRig design on the superyacht Black Pearl. He later relocated to Palma de Mallorca to lead composite refit projects and joined RigPro in 2022. His deep composite expertise ensures every performance upgrade and repair is executed to the highest quality and safety standards.
Stephen Young
Head of Engineering
Steve, RigPro Palma’s first hire, brings 20 years’ mast and boom engineering, composite expertise, and national-level racing experience, advising on all upgrades and repairs.
Lance Manson
Head of Project Management,
RigPro New Zealand
Lance has more than 43 years of experience in the marine industry. He has spent over five of those years with RigPro, amongst his time working on six America’s Cup campaigns and numerous superyacht projects. In addition, he spent 10 years as a project manager at Southern Spars, developing a deep understanding of client needs and the ability to deliver precisely tailored project solutions.
Erik Bernström
Business Manager, RigPro USA
Erik joined RigPro in 2019 bringing more than 20 years of high-level experience in the mast and rigging industry. As Business Manager for RPUS, he applies deep technical expertise and leadership to support clients, drive operational excellence, and strengthen RigPro’s position as the industry’s premier service provider.
Jorge Martinez
Rigging Team Leader,
RigPro Europe
Jorge joined Rig Pro in 2023. With extensive rigging experience and a background in mechanical engineering and naval architecture, he delivers high-level technical solutions and has contributed to successful projects around the world.
Marc Romo
Part Supply Team Leader
Marc joined RigPro in February, 2024. Having worked previously as a sales representative in nautical stores such as Multimarine and Yacht Center Palma, he has been sailing from a young age and has extensive experience with marine products and their uses.
Matt Lyon
Senior Project Manager
Matt joined RigPro in 2020 to manage and integrate the DynaRig fleet into NTG. This was followed by a busy 2 years Project Managing refits and service work on all Vessels. Matt was on Secondment to Ineos Britannia for AC38 as Shore Team Senior Composites Lead, and returned to NTG at the beginning of 2025.
Simon Tibbott
Project Manager
Simon joined RigPro in early 2025. With a background as a Captain on a range of classic to performance sail yachts up to 50m, a degree in Marine Studies, Ocean Yachting, and a history in rigging around the world race yachts, he understands the full spectrum of requirements from design to maintenance demanded from yachts around the globe.
Giovanni Buono
Project Manager
Giovanni joined RigPro Palma in late 2021 to support the management of projects and customers’ requirements. With a background in Aerospace Engineering and technical experience gained across various roles in the industry, he helps clients align their needs with the best solutions for their projects.
Jamie Webster
Project Manager
Jamie joined RigPro in 2020, with 9 years of experience as a superyacht engineer behind him. He has specialised in project managing complex and large scale new builds and refits. He excels in working with clients and crew to make the integration between the sailing system and the yacht seamless.
Abigail Thomas
Project Manager
Abi has been with RigPro for nearing two years. With a background rooted in the yachting industry, Abi brings hands-on experience from some of the world’s most advanced superyachts.
Now working in a project management role, Abi applies this knowledge across a wide range of projects - from rig inspections and commissioning to fine-tuning - ensuring each is delivered with care and attention to detail.
Patrick Morgan
Project Manager
Patrick started at RigPro in New Zealand in 2022 as an Assistant Project Manger/Trainee Rigger, whilst balancing his 49er Olympic campaign. He is now a full time Project Manager managing large refits. When Pat's not at work he'll likely be found on the Hauraki gulf on a skiff, wing foiling or fishing.
Nigel Hawke
Project Manager
Nigel started working for Southern Spars in 2001 assembling carbon mast and has been at Rig Pro since 2007. He brings a vast amount of knowledge of composite mast repairs, rigging and project management.
Txatxu Martinez
Composite Project Manager
Txatxu joined RigPro in 2025 as Composite Project Manager in Palma. He brings hands-on experience from Argo Yachting and Hall Spars, covering composite repairs and surface preparation. He focuses on clear planning and steady delivery, working closely with crews and captains throughout.
Josh Pearl
Project Manager
Josh has been with RigPro for over 8 years and brings more than 20 years of experience in the marine industry. He began his career as a boatbuilder before joining Southern Spars, where he gained invaluable expertise in the mast-building process. With a strong background in composites, Josh combines deep technical insight with a proactive, customer-focused management style, ensuring smooth delivery and consistently high-quality outcomes.
